That's us. Otaku But Gangsta started as statement of geek pride in 2008. Tired of hearing the belittling opinions others have of gamers and geeks, Otaku But Gangsta became a motto of loving games and all things geek related freely, without caring what anyone's condescending views may be.

Operating out of New York City, OBG offers you a hardheaded but lighthearted, brutally honest opinion on the state of games, gadgets, and straight up being a geek. 

Editor-in-Chief Ernie Deeb has been a hardcore gamer for over twenty-five years. In search of a creative outlet to escape the harsh realities of a day job, he created Otaku But Gangsta to voice his opinion on the things he is most passionate about. Don't worry, it's only a toy gun.
